Discussion covers the following: the protection of privacy and of personal data is of concern to both individuals and businesses, especially in the tech, e-commerce and health sectors;  the collection, processing and use of personal data is strictly regulated across the EU; and all U.S. companies with European operations need to be concerned about this, as there is increasingly strict enforcement of the regime in the EU.
