This session will provide an overview and practical advice on common issues encountered by in-house counsel in managing their foreign subsidiaries from within the U.S., including how to deal with multiple governing jurisdictions and conflicting legal systems and cultures; common regulatory hurdles such as foreign investment and licensing requirements and what you need to do to clear them; and common issues such as employee rights and privacy and  how they differ in different jurisdictions.
