Environmental matters are essential elements that must now be addressed in almost every real estate transaction. In order to assist companies in navigating these increasingly important issues, Anderson Kill is hosting a two-part seminar on environmental matters in real estate leasing. This second part of the seminar series, will feature several attorneys from Anderson Kill who will speak about LEED leasing issues and non-LEED environmental leasing issues as well as contractual specifications for renovation and demolition work done in connection with leasing. We also welcome an accountant from Friedman, LLP who will address the tax implications of green improvements to buildings, and an architect from FXFOWLE Architects who will discuss green roofs.
Among the topics to be discussed include: LEED leasing issues; green roofs; non-LEED environmental issues in leasing; and tax advantages of environmental upgrades.
