This seminar will focus on the "nuts and bolts" of labor arbitration. Attendees will learn how to manage client expectations in the arbitration process, how to propose or anticipate settlement offers at all stages of the process, how to prepare an opening statement, evidence and witnesses for the hearing, and what to expect at a hearing.

The panel of seasoned practitioners and arbitrators will provide practical tips for attorneys unfamiliar with arbitration as well as those attorneys interested in refreshing their perspective and gaining a better understanding of the process. They will cover the role that arbitration plays in the union-management relationship as well as the roles advocates play in an arbitration, before, after and during the arbitration hearing.
