The Mini Essentials program is designed as basic training for new corporate secretaries and a refresher course for those with more experience. The program will be taught by seasoned corporate secretaries and governance professionals. Agenda topics include Fundamentals of Corporate Governance; Internal Sources of and Limits on Governance Authority; Board and Committee Meetings; Regulation and Disclosure; Corporate Entity Management; and Shareholder Engagement.

The Midwest Conference will cover Recruiting Directors; Political Contributions Disclosure; Exclusive Forum Bylaws; Election Effects on Regulations; and Unclaimed Property Audits.

To complement these programs, several companies that offer services for the corporate secretary and legal department offices will be exhibiting their products on site.
