Anderson Kill is pleased to announce that Robert S. Cook Jr. and John G. Nevius will be hosting the first seminar in a two part series on Environmental Issues in Real Estate Development and Leasing.

Environmental matters are essential elements that must now be addressed in almost every real estate transaction. In order to assist companies in navigating these increasingly important issues, Anderson Kill is hosting a two-part seminar on environmental matters in real estate development and leasing. The first part will feature two attorneys from Anderson Kill who will speak about Brownfields Redevelopment and New York's new "green zoning" initiative, an accountant from Friedman, LLP who specializes in real-estate related tax issues, and an architect from Curtis & Ginsberg, LLP, who will address the New York City energy code.

Among the topics to be discussed include: Brownfields Redevelopment: A New Funding Alternative; NY State Tax Issues in Brownfields Development; NYS Energy Conservation Code; and Green Zoning.
