Cloud computing, like most online activity, entails risk - especially that of date theft. Cloud computing data breaches have already exposed over 100 million users' personal information to cyber criminals. Data security breaches continue to mount, and no institution or individual is immune. Defense contractors, commercial and investment banks, video game companies, universities and other organizations have recently experienced serious data thefts and attacks by hackers. The problem is so acute that even firms specializing in computer security have been attacked. This session will explore the risk management and insurance coverage considerations to address risks unique to cloud computing.
