At this lunch, the Senior Lawyers Section and the Civil Rights and Civil Liberties Section will present two distinguished constitutional scholars. Professor Eric Segallof Georgia State University College of Law, who has recently published Supreme Myths: Why the Supreme Court is Not a Court and its Justices are Not Judges, will explain the title of his book and defend its accuracy. Richard H. Fallon, Ralph S. Tyler, Jr. professor of Constitutional Law at Harvard Law School, will comment. Professor Fallon, author of The Dynamic Constitution, served as a law clerk to Justice Lewis F. Powell and has written extensively about constitutional law and federal courts.
