The conference will look at the growing complexity of global investment funds in light of heightened regulations. It will examine the impact on the way investment funds operate going forward under MIFID 2 AIFMD, Dodd-Frank, and FATCA. There will be discussion groups focusing on topics such at new fund structures; changing accounting environment; venture capital and the impact of proposed regulation; valuation under European and U.S. models; and remuneration policies for managers.

The keynote speaker is James Norris, managing director of the Vanguard Group Inc., who will speak about the future of the investment management industry if the investors get their way.
