Diminished funding and a staff hiring freeze continue to burden the delivery of justice in the Commonwealth. In 2012 a Justice in the Balance report by court leaders stated unequivocally “We have reached the point where we can no longer provide quality services to the 42,000 people who arrive at our courthouses daily to restore a wide range of criminal and civil matters.”

Attendees will hear from distinguished jurists about the unprecedented challenges Massachusetts courts are facing with regard to the administration of justice. There will be a question and answer session and a reception following the program.
