The Executive Counsel Institute, with sponsor RenewData, has scheduled E-Discovery for the Corporate Market Conferences “The Exchange” colloquiums for 2012.
The first will be held in San Francisco. The colloquium will also be held in Chicago in June, New York in July, Houston in September and Los Angeles in December.
The highly interactive program, designed for corporate counsel and their staff, will provide understanding and practical advice regarding major e-discovery challenges facing organizations today. The new format includes a series of ten in-depth roundtable discussions specifically for in-house counsel and moderated by leaders in the e-discovery arena. It will build on a set of frequently encountered factual and legal issues with attendees and moderators jointly developing practical solutions. CLE credits are available.
Topics include creating a routine and repeatable e-discovery business process; dealing with the challenges of litigation holds; arguing proportionality; how to recognize and reconcile the tensions between inside and outside counsel and providers; the need to document your e-discovery efforts; real ECA and risk analysis, and more.
