This annual course of study will provide a comprehensive discussion of environmental crimes in the country. Practitioners will hear from government attorneys and private practitioners who will analyze how cases are being brought and offer insights of how to best serve clients at all stages of these proceedings. Participants will learn to assist clients on how to avoid environmental liability in the course of carrying out business.

Topics include What to do if the EPA Shows Up with a Search Warrant; How to Handle DOJ and EPA Rejection of Proposed Civil Resolution; and Forecasting the Future of Environmental Crime: Where Will EPA Criminal Enforcement Be Putting Resources.
