On Wednesday, March 28, the Boston Bar Association has scheduled the 16th Annual Superior Court Bench Meets Bar Conference at the BBA, 16 Beacon Street in Boston.
The event begins at 4:00 p.m. and ends at 7:00 p.m.
This popular annual conference covers timely topics in superior court practice and procedure. A panel of superior court justices will offer their insights and perspectives on current practice and how to be an effective advocate.
Specific topics are the current state of the courts and how the budget crisis has affected delivery of legal services; professional conduct in the courtroom; summary judgment and other dispotive motions; and trial advocacy. At the conclusion of the seminar participants will have an opportunity to network and mingle with the judges and fellow attorneys at an open bar reception.
The speakers are Hon. Barbara J. Rouse, chief justice, Superior Court; Hon. E. Susan Garsh, associate justice, Superior Court; Hon. Timothy Q. Feeley, associate justice, Supreme Court; Hon.
