On Tuesday, March 20, the New York City Bar Association offers An Inside Look at In-House Legal Issues: A Guide for Plaintiff & Defense Firms. It starts at 6:00 p.m. and ends at 8:00 p.m. at the New York City Bar Association, 42 West 44th Street in New York City.

Participants will learn how to effectively communicate with companies, whether the client is seeking relief from the corporation or representing the company. This program will present a candid conversation with in-house and outside counsel on legal issues focusing on employment matters. Topics covered include what in-house counsel look for when selecting counsel and what they expect from outside counsel; what considerations in-house counsel have when they receive a demand letter/claim; and what information inside counsel need from plaintiffs when evaluating a claim.
