Karen Kahn, founding principal, Threshold Advisors
The Joint Task Force on the Retention and Promotion of Women has partnered with the National Association of Women Lawyers to hold a mid-year meeting in Los Angeles.
The first part of the program, which runs from 9:00 a.m. to noon and is free to everyone, features Karen Kahn, the founding principal of Threshold Advisors – an organization devoted to helping lawyers develop their full potential through coaching and leadership development. Ms. Kahn will lead an interactive discussion titled Success: What Is It Really and How to Get It Your Way. The workshop is intended to encourage attendees who have now attained the level of partner for which they have been working so hard to get off autopilot and think beyond the standard definitions of success. It is designed for lawyers who have been in the practice at least 10 years.
After the discussion, a networking lunch has been planned from noon to 2:00 p.m. followed by the afternoon program that includes Ethics Musical Follies; Wine and Wisdom: A Conversation with Women Lawyers Who Shape Our Profession; and an evening Networking Reception.
