The New York City Bar Association presents a video replay of Employment Law Essentials What New York Practitioners Need to Know about Leaves of Absence, Overtime, Retaliation and More.

It will be held on Thursday, January 12, from 9:00 a.m. until noon, at the City Bar, located at 42 West 44th Street in New York City.

This program is for all practitioners who need a practical survey of the latest developments in New York employment law. Four core areas will be discussed: the first segment covering parental and medical leaves will be presented by Alan M. Koral of Vedder Price P.C. and Ossai Miazad of Outten & Golden LLP, who will discuss types of leaves and a company’s obligations to employees.

The second section will discuss whistleblowing and retaliation claims and will be led by Maureen M. Stampp of Lewis Brisbois Bisgaard & Smith LLP and Pearl Zuchlewski of Kraus & Zuchlewski LLP.

The final segments cover the topics of overtime and minimum wage requirements in New York and will be presented by Christopher A. Parlo of Morgan, Lewis & Bockius LLP and Justin M. Swartz of Outten & Golden LLP.
