The Internet presents a host of challenges for public and private entities seeking to protect their copyrights online, and this seminar will focus on copyright protection and liability issues in cyberspace. Topics will delve into website owners’ copyright liabilities; file sharing and distribution of music, art and writing; and the Digital Millennium Copyright Act. Participants will discover the scope of copyright protections and the myriad ways they can be violated.
