The San Diego ACC chapter is hosting several roundtable and panel discussions in February.
On February 9, Robert Tyson from Tyson & Mendes and Heather Anderson from Best Buy will lead a roundtable discussion titled Litigation Management: How to Economically Manage Your Outside Litigation Costs. The discussion will run from 5:00 to 6:00 p.m. and will be followed by networking at the La Jolla Country Club in La Jolla.
On Wednesday, February 9, Wilson Turner & Kosmo LLP will host an employment and lobor roundtable – The Long-Awaited Decision in Brinker – What It Means for California Employers. It will run from 4:00 to 6:000 p.m. at the offices of Wilson Turner in San Diego.
On Thursday, February 16, the chapter will host a panel discussion titled Advanced Contract Negotiations to provide an overview on deal negotiation and discuss items commonly negotiated and give input on key contractual terms. Speakers are Mike Brown and Alexandra Mahaney, Stradling Yocca Carlson & Rauth and Andrew Quinn, Qualcomm MEMS Technologies, Inc. The discussion will run from 8:00 to 9:00 a.m. at the offices of Stradling Yocca in San Diego.
An interactive ethics and compliance roundtable discussion will follow on Wednesday, February 22, at the offices of Cooley LLP in San Diego. Titled Oversight of C&E Program (role of board, management, etc.) and Managing Major Misconduct Allegations/Corporate Scandals, the program will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.
