The course includes an overview of real court experiences, including mock hearings/demonstrations; hearing on the merits and perfecting appeals; emerging family issues in immigration cases; 204(L) issues; advanced waivers at consulate; e-verify, I-9 audits and enforcement; hot topics with non-immigrant visas (NIVs); and labor certification.
Wednesday’s introductory program will cover concepts for understanding U.S. immigration laws; introduction to business immigration, including the basics of NIVs; a history of immigration law; citizenship, derivation, and naturalization; and an introduction to immigration court.
