On Thursday, December 8, The New York City Bar Association is proud to present a public forum discussing Albany Reform: The Road Ahead featuring a keynote address by former New York City Mayor Hon. Edward I. Koch. Mr. Koch is also the founder of New York Uprising.

He will address the work that remains to be done in the areas of redistricting, ethics reform, campaign finance reform, and the budgetary process. The event will feature a panel discussion of policy and prospects for New York State in 2012. It will begin at 6:30 and ends at 8:00 p.m. at the New York City Bar Association, 42 West 44th Street in Manhattan.  Other speakers are Dick Dadey, executive director, Citizens Union; Mitra Hormozi, Kirkland & Ellis LLP; Glenn Magpantay, director, Democracy Program, Asian American Legal Defense Fund; and Hon. John Sampson, Democratic Conference leader, New York State Senate.
