On Wednesday to Friday, January 18 to 20, the Hildebrandt Institute and West LegalEdcenter will hold a law firm marketing partner forum titled Driving Innovation in a Transforming Legal Marketplace.
It will be held at the Fairmont Turnberry Isle Resort, 19999 West Country Club Drive in Aventura, Florida.
Wednesday’s schedule includes three pre-conference workshops, Social Media to Drive Revenue, Building Reporting -- Marketing and Business Development Metrics, and Managing Partner/Marketing Partners. From 4:30 until 6:00 p.m. there are CMO/CSO marketing partner and managing partner roundtables followed by a welcome reception.
Thursday’s program begins with a panel discussing legal industry trends and what firms are doing in 2012 with panelists Silvia Coulter, principal consultant, LawVision Group and Lisa Roher, director of the Hildebrandt Institute. Later the keynote speaker, Mario Moussa, president of Moussa Consulting, will discuss persuasive leadership and how to achieve this skill. The day will end at 5:15 p.m.
On Friday sessions open at 8:30 a.m. and include a general session titled The Client Perspective: Being a Trusted Advisor in the New Normal and What Clients Don’t Tell Their Lawyers. The moderator is Veta Richardson, president and chief executive officer of the Association of Corporate Counsel; the panelists are Janine Dascenzo, associate general counsel of General Electric Company; John Page, vice president, Golden State Foods Corporation; and Bill Sailer, senior vice president of QUALCOMM Inc. The forum adjourns at 1:30 p.m.
