The Virginia Continuing Legal Education Group is offering the 29th Annual Business Law Seminar: Business Financing in Difficult Financial Times on Thursday, December 8, at the VLCE CLE Building, 105 Whitewood Road in Charlottesville, Virginia.
The seminar begins at 8:00 a.m. and ends at 12:45 p.m.
Difficult financial times have ushered in a new era of tightened lending regulation and credit standards that have made the traditional venues for business financing seemingly less accessible and more expensive for many businesses. Many business practitioners find themselves bombarded by clients seeking advice on financing alternatives that are compatible with their existing business structure and existing legal commitments. This year’s annual business law program provides need to know information on the current business finance marketplace and analysis of the current legal trends and issues confronting lenders and borrowers in concluding a successful financing.
Among the speakers are Anna Mackley Cobb, Virginia Department of Business Assistance; Bernard J. DiMuro, DiMuro, Ginsberg & Mook, P.C.; John C. McCauley, Virginia Commercial Finance; and Brian Michael Brown, Woods Rodgers, PLC.
