Nonprofit organizations take risks everyday in order to achieve their charitable missions, often without even being aware of the risks. The trick of risk management is to limit the organization’s financial exposure while delivering the necessary programs. This workshop will focus on how to use insurance and contracts to help protect the nonprofit organization from losses.
The instructor is Linda Manley, legal director, the Lawyers Alliance for New York.
