The NYSBA is offering a program examining representing entrepreneurial business: fundamental litigation and corporate issues on Wednesday, November 9, at the Affinia Manhattan at 371 Seventh Avenue. The class starts at 8:30 a.m. and ends at 12:45 p.m.

Practitioners who work with entrepreneurial companies know they differ substantially from interactions with more traditional corporate clients. This course will explore the business lawyer’s role as an advisor to entrepreneurial businesses and their owners. The program will highlight the environment of the entrepreneur to allow lawyers to go beyond problem-spotting mode into problem-solving mode, and recognition of the “business answer” along with the “legal answer,” to come up with the best solutions for clients.

The speakers are John G. Balestriere, Balestriere Fariello; Vaughn J. Buffalo, Buffalo & Associates LLC; and Michael T. Yonker, Law Office of Michael T. Yonker.
