On Thursday and Friday, December 8 and 9, the American Law Institute-American Bar Association reviews Employee Benefits Litigation. The seminar is located at the ALI-ABA Conference Center at 4025 Chestnut Street in Philadelphia. Both days begin at 8:00 a.m. and end at 5:30 p.m.
This course will teach the substantive law of employee benefits disputes and the processes followed in resolving them, whether by litigation or otherwise. The course presents practical solutions to the litigation problems plaintiffs and defendants face in ERISA-related cases, and will attempt to make all the pieces of ERISA litigation fit together.
Topics include an Overview of Developing Issues in Plan Design; A U.S. Supreme Court Overview; Health Care Claims; and Procedural Issues in Benefits Litigation.
