Join the New York City Bar on Wednesday, November 9, for a presentation of Managing the IP Problem. The class will be at the New York City Bar Association, 42 West 44th Street in New York City. It starts at 8:30 and ends at 9:30 a.m.

In today’s most dynamic and evolving industries, it is not surprising to find that a company’s most important assets are intangible. The panel will discuss some of the strategic choices that companies must make when their intellectual property assumes a primary role in the business plan. Specifically, the panel will touch upon the issues of patent quality, patent trolls, possible remedies and problem jurisdictions. For each topic speakers will highlight current best practices, and will also discuss how those practices may be affected by the passage of the America Invents Act.

The faculty has yet to be announced, check the City Bar website for updates.
