Building momentum does not have to be a slow process when learning to use social media to gain a business advantage. On Monday, November 7, the DC Bar Practice Management Service Committee will offer “Practical Tips for Using Social Media and Online Legal Communities to Develop and Nurture Referral and Mentor Relationships, the final session of its social media series.
During this 60–minute, brown bag training attendees will learn best practices for leveraging legal industry social networks to increase one’s digital footprint and grow one’s practice. The session will cover creating a profile, personal branding, attracting followers, and establishing business relationships through social networking. Attendees can expect to learn how to benefit from social media networks such as LinkedIn, Twitter, JD Supra, and others to name a few.
The sessions will take place from 12:00 to 1 p.m. at the D.C. Bar Conference Center, 1101 K Street NW. The speaker isTasha Cooper Coleman.
