Massachusetts Supreme Judicial Court Awards Bankruptcy Law Section Highest Honor The Editor interviews Janet Bostwick and Christopher Mirick of the Bankruptcy Law Section of the Boston Bar Association on the Section's pro bono efforts. Janet, a solo practitioner, led the effort to organize the pro bono efforts some 10 years ago as chair of the then Bankruptcy Law Committee (now Section). Chris, who practices at Weil Gotshal & Manges in Boston, is incoming chair of the Bankruptcy Section. The Supreme Court's Standing Committee on Pro Bono Legal Services names the Bankruptcy Section the winner of the highly coveted John Adams and John Quincy Adams Pro Bono Publico Award, the first to be awarded to a section of the Boston Bar Association. The award was presented by Chief Justice Margaret H. Marshall and Justice Francis X. Spina at a ceremony at Boston College Law School on May 6, 2004. [P. 44]
