NYCLA Forum: Legal Services in France


On June 27, the New York County Lawyers’ Association Justice Center hosted a public forum, “Civil Legal Services in France -- What Can the United States Learn?” featuring a discussion of the civil legal service system that France, which has civil Gideon, has developed.Introductory remarks were made by Immediate Past NYCLA president, James B. Kobak Jr. (first on the left), a partner at Hughes Hubbard & Reed, and NYCLA president Stewart D. Aaron, and partner at Arnold & Porter. Also pictured (from left to right) are panelists: Lynn M.
