Texas Bar To Replay Insurance Law Seminar

The State Bar of Texas has scheduled a video replay of its 5th Annual Advanced Insurance Law Course.

The program will take place on Thursday and Friday, May 8 and 9 at the Holiday Inn Select Greenway Plaza, 2712 Southwest Freeway, Houston. Sessions will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. on day one and from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. on day two.

At this seminar, panelists explore topics such as: Post-Lamar: Application in Construction Defect Cases; The Fortuity Doctrine: An Emerging Defense in the Liability Context; The Prompt Pay Statute: It's a Whole New World; Hot Insurance Discovery Issues; Contractual Indemnity and Additional Insureds; Climbing Mt. Everest in Tennis Shoes: Ethical & Practical Challenges Faced by Tort & Insurance Law Practitioners; Expert Testimony in the Insurance Context, and Settlements, Assignments, and Agreements Between Plaintiffs and Insured Defendants: What Can and Can't Be Done.
