San Francisco Bar Seminar Will Explore Business Bankruptcies

Recent Developments in Business Bankruptcy is the title of a CLE seminar planned by the Commercial Law and Bankruptcy Section of the Bar Association of San Francisco (BASF).

The program will take place on Tuesday, November 6 from 4 to 6 p.m. at the BASF Conference Center, 301 Battery Street, San Francisco.

The speakers will include the Hon. Dennis Montali, U.S. bankruptcy judge; Ron Oliner, Duane Morris LLP, and Cecily Dumas, Friedman Dumas & Springwater LLP. Among the topics they will discuss are: Automatic Stay; Executory Contracts; Property of the Estate; Professionals and Committees; Avoiding Powers; Sales and Compromises; Consumer Cases, and Chapter 11 Decisions of Note.
