The State Bar of Georgia will present its 13th Annual Securities Litigation and Regulatory Practice Seminar.

The program will take place on Friday, October 12 from 9 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at The Westin Buckhead, 3391 Peachtree Road Northeast, Atlanta. Registration begins at 8:15 p.m.

Among the discussion topics will be: They Knew Better - Insider Trading by Professionals; The State of Privilege Waiver and Cooperation; Responding to SEC Production Demands; The SEC's New Settlement Regime; ADR With the SEC; Pleading Standards and Confidential Sources; Primary Liability vs. Aiding and Abetting; Using State Law Claims to Avoid PSLRA; Consideration for Structuring Settlements in Class and Derivative Cases, and Evolving Director and Audit Committee Obligations in Response to Government Investigations and Civil Litigation.
