NYCLA Plans Replay Of Accounting Seminar

The New York County Lawyers' Association (NYCLA) has scheduled areplay of a CLE seminar titled Breakfast With NYCLA: Accounting for Lawyers.

The program will take place on Friday, September 7 from 8:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the NYCLA Home of Law, 14 Vesey Street, New York City.

Understanding financial and accounting principles is crucial to properly representing and advising clients. This program details the basic set of financial statements; the sources and key concepts of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP); common SEC filings; the nature and purpose of financial audits, and accounting issues in litigation.

The speaker is Thomas L. Porter, senior consultant, NERA EconomicConsulting.
