NYCLA Seminar Will OfferAdvice On Becoming A Better Negotiator

The New York County Lawyers' Association (NYCLA) is planning a CLE seminar titled Gain the Edge! Negotiation Strategies for Lawyers.

The program will take place on Friday, June 8 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the NYCLA Home of Law, 14 Vesey Street, New York City.

Among the skills attendees will learn are: effective strategies to define your goals; powerful information gathering methods; when to share information - and when to keep it; ways to block tough questions; tactics to generate creative solutions; ways to gain leverage when seemingly powerless; five tactics to maximize your leverage; the power of objective standards; how to counter the other side's standards; first offer dynamics - when to make it and when to wait; secrets of the successful close; deadline and timing tips.
