The Tennessee Bar Association (TBA) this month will present a CLE seminar titled Electronic Discovery and the New Amendments to the Federal Rules of Civil Procedure.
The program will take place on Thursday, December 14 from 2 to 5:15 p.m. at the Tennessee Bar Center, Nashville. The seminar will be followed by a reception sponsored by LexisNexis.
This seminar will fully discuss and explain the new amendments and detail the practical effects of the new rules on the practice of law in state and federal courts. In addition, the seminar will provide practical and technical information on obtaining access to electronic information irrespective of whether the access is through discovery under the Rules of Civil Procedure or not. Each segment will focus on the impact of lawyers' ethical duties preserving and producing information of clients, the preservation of clients' confidences and secrets, and avoiding improper ex parte contact with adversaries.
Speakers for the seminar are still to be announced.
