San Diego ACCA Slates Crisis Seminar

The San Diego Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel America this month will present a CLE seminar titled Crisis Management: Coordinating With Your Management, Board and Audit Committee Before, During and After the Dam Breaks.

The program will take place on Thursday, March 23 from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the offices of Latham & Watkins, 600 West Broadway, Suite 1800, San Diego.

The program will feature a discussion of issues relating to how in-house counsel and compliance personnel should prepare for and respond to a crisis situation. Topics discussed will include compliance and contingency planning, legal and regulatory requirements and practical advice on howto cope with and manage through a crisis situation. Crises addressed will include accounting restatements, internal investigations and whistleblower complaints, stock delisting proceedings, and government or criminal investigations.

Speakers will be Thomas A. Edwards, Latham & Watkins, and Martha N. Corbett, Pricewaterhouse Coopers LLP.
