Tuesday, November 1, 2005 - 01:00

The Association of the Bar of the City of New York this month has scheduled a CLE seminar titled Ethics for In-House Counsel.

The program will take place on Thursday, November 10 from 6 to 9 p.m. at the House of the Association, 42 West 44th Street, New York City.

This annual ethics program is designed especially for in-house counsel and outside counsel advising their in-house clients. Using a hypothetical based on real-life experience, a panel of speakers will review a variety of important professional responsibility issues that affect corporate counsel on a daily basis.

Topics to be discussed include:

  • Ethical obligations to the corporation and to corporate employees;
  • "Reporting up" and "reporting out" obligations.
  • The program's new content will entitle attendees to receive CLE credit even if they attended the 2004 program.

    For details on available CLE credits and program fees, see the Bulletin Board on The Metropolitan Corporate Counselwebsite at www.metrocorpcounsel.com.
