Seminar Focus: Hiring Guidelines

The St. Louis Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel-America next month has scheduled a CLE seminar titled Hiring, Promoting, Compensating, and Developing Employees: Practical Guidelines and Legal Considerations.


The session will take place on Thursday, June 17 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Junior League of St. Louis, 10435 Clayton Road, St. Louis.


This presentation will consider key guidelines for various HRM practices in light of recent court decisions. Topics will include effective ways to interview and select new employees, promote existing employees, make pay decisions, and provide development opportunities (such as coaching and training) in light of professional (for example, best practices), legal (recent court decisions), and strategic (company mission) considerations.


The speaker will be Michael Harris of EASI-Consult.
