WESFACCA Plans Potpourri Of Programs For January CLE Calendar

A variety of corporate counsel issues will be addressed this month in a series of CLE seminars planned by WESFACCA, the Westchester/Southern Connecticut Chapter of the Association of Corporate Counsel.

The WESFACCA January program calendar includes:

• Thursday, January 8, Structuring the Deal: Project Risk Management Program, covering major structure types, joint ventures, consortium, major project risk types, and structure and risk; speaker: Eugene Madara, vice president, general counsel and secretary, ABB Automation; 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Greenwich Hyatt Regency Hotel, Greenwich, CT;

• Tuesday, January 13, A Best Practices Roundtable, focusing on general best practices, types of service and areas of expertise best practices, and paraprofessional best practices; moderators: Keith Wimbush, chair of WESFACCA Law Department Management Committee, and Ashlin Quirk, Pitney Bowes; 5:45 to 7 p.m. at the WESFACCA Conference Center, 970 Summer Street, Stamford, CT;

• Wednesday, January 14, International Contracts Nuts and Bolts Part 1: Drafting for Disputes; 9:30 to 11:30 a.m.; other details to be announced;

• Thursday, January 29, Covering Your Assets - Trade Secrets and Computer Data, examining what you can do when an employee leaves and goes after your customers, raids your workforce, or steals your computer data; speakers: Nick Ackerman, Dorsey & Whitney, and James Sanislow, technology director, Moran Services; 9:15 to 11 a.m. at Greenwich Hyatt Regency Hotel, Green, CT.
