ACC-DFW Hosts Spring In-House Symposium

On Thursday, May 26, the ACC Dallas-Fort Worth Chapter will host its annual In-House Symposium at the Center for American and International Law, 5201 Democracy Drive in Plano, Texas.

The larger venue offers a state-of-the-art facility that will accommodate more attendees. The conference will run from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and will include lunch and a cocktail reception, which will give participants ample networking opportunities.

Topics that will be covered are Insurance: What In-House Counsel Need to Know That They Don't; E-Discovery & Class Action Solutions; and Patent Reform & Patent Litigation.

Employment: Top Labor & Employment Law Trends will be discussed by Jennifer Youpa and Steve Rahhal,Littler Mendelson, P.C., andTechnology- The Cloud - What It Is, Risks & Implications on Discovery will be covered byWei Wei Jeang and John McDowell, Andrews & Kurth LLP, and Suzy Fulton, general counsel ofSoftLayer Technologies. Ethics - Changing Burden on Preserving Privilege (including International Implications) will be presented by Melissa Ruman Stewart and John Kincade, both of Winstead PC.
