ABA Annual Program Focuses On In-House Corporate Investigations

The American Bar Association presents its Third Annual National Institute on Internal Corporate Investigations and Forum for In-House Counsel. The event will take place Wednesday through Friday, May 4-6 at the Millennium Broadway Hotel, 145 West 44 Street in New York City.

Day one begins at 11:00 a.m. and ends at 5:15 p.m. Day two starts at 8:45 a.m. and ends at 5:00 p.m. Day three begins at 8:30 a.m. and the conference adjourns at 3:00 p.m.

Now more than ever, corporate investigations are a centerpiece of corporate compliance, risk management, government investigations defense and litigation strategy.

The national institute will bring together leading practitioners and in-house counsel to address the legal, ethical, marketing, strategic, and managerial considerations to guide participant's decision-making.

The keynote speaker is Preet Bharara U.S. attorney, Southern District of New York. Other speakers are Richard Strassberg, Goodwin Procter LLP; Steven Tyrrell, partner, Weil Gotshal & Manges LLP; James E. Day, vice president and chief counsel enforcement, FINRA; and Robert J. Cleary, partner, Proskauer Rose LLP.
