NYC Bar Looks At Litigation Arising From The Financial Crisis

The NYC Bar Association is holding a seminar about current developments in securities litigation sparked by the recent financial crisis. The event will be held on Tuesday, December 8, from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. at 42 West 44 Street in New York City.

Participants will learn about the increased filings of securities-related litigation brought about by the recent financial meltdown. At this program an expert faculty will discuss important developments in securities litigation and offer strategies and tactics for prosecuting and defending these cases. The course will offer outside and in-house counsel an overview of cutting-edge issues, ranging from the nuts and bolts principles to sophisticated strategic advice.The program will be chaired by Lawrence J. Zweifach of Gibson Dunn & Crutcher LLP.
