The DC Bar is focusing on export controls and trade sanctions in a two-part seminar to be held Tuesday, November 3 and Tuesday, November 17 from 6 p.m. to 8:15 each evening. Both sessions will be presented at the DC Bar, 1101 K. Street NW, Washington, D.C.
The first session will provide an introduction to export controls and outline the basics of U.S. export controls, focusing on the key statutes, regulations, administrative procedures and the players involved in the regulation ofU.S. companies (and their foreign affiliates) that engage in exports or other activities involving foreign trade and business.The second program will focus on hot topic issues such as the Entity List, revisions on controls, implementation of the Validated End-User for China and India, and the dual-use and munitions export control programs.
