PLI And PBI Cosponsors - Developments In Pharmaceutical And Biotech Patent Law

The Practising Law Institute in conjunction with the Pennsylvania Bar Institute is presenting a live video cast of Developments in Pharmaceutical and Biotech Patent Law on Thursday, September 17, from 9:00 a.m. until 5 p.m. at PBI's CLE Conference Center, Wanamaker Building, Suite 1010 in Philadelphia.

The event will be co-chaired by David K. Barr, Kaye Scholer LLP and Daniel R. Reisner, Kay Scholer LLP. Among the speakers are Karen I. Boyd, Turner Boyd LLP; Jennifer Gordon, Baker Botts L.L.P.; Timothy R. Holbrook, professor at law, Emory University School of Law; Darryl L. Webster, senior patent counsel, Wyeth; and Cynthia H. Zhang, director, Intellectual Property, Gilead Sciences Inc.

The program will cover many aspects of pharmaceutical and biotech patent law, including the most recent developments relevant to practitioners in this area.Technological innovation, federal circuit appellate oversight, Congressional action and Supreme Court decisions have all driven significant changes in the law. Several different perspectives on many of the most pressing issues will be offered from experienced in-house and outside counsel.
