ACCA SoCal Plans Protecting IP CLE Event

The Southern California chapter of ACCA has scheduled a lunchtimeCLE event titled Is Imitation Really the Sincerest Form of Flattery?: Protecting Your Company's Brand in the Online and Mobile Marketing World for Wednesday, July 22, at IBM Corporation, 3545 Harbor Blvd. in Costa Mesa.

The program will run from 11:30 a.m. to 1:15 p.m.

This program will address cost-effectively managing and protecting your company's trademarks, domain names, and copyrights. The discussion will cover the implications of recent developments in trademark and copyright law for protecting your company's trademarks and brands in the Internet and mobile device world, the implications of ICANN's new top-level domains on your company's important brands, and the practical steps you can take to protect your company's valuable intellectual property.

Speakers Ana Maria Zander, corporate counsel for Experian, and Rhonda R. Trotter and Theodore Maya, both in the Intellectual Property group of Kaye Scholer LLP, will present these timely issues.
