PLI To Explore The FCPA In San Francisco Seminar

PLI has planned a seminar titled The Foreign Corrupt Practices Act 2009: Coping with Heightened Enforcement Risks for Friday, June 26, at the PLI California Center,685 Market Street in San Francisco.

It is scheduled to begin at 8:30 a.m. and adjourn at 5:00 p.m.

General topics for the days' seminar are an FCPA overview and update; the ABCs of third parties - a perennial and expanding compliance challenge; managing FCPA risks in investment transactions, mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and consortia; and when prevention fails: internal investigations and disclosure issues.

The faculty presenters include Richard Dean, Baker & McKenzie LLP; Cynthia A. Eaton, international compliance manager, Textron Systems Corp.; and Bradford C. Lewis, associate general counsel, Barclays Global Investors.
