BBA Program Focus: Learn From Mistakes

Monday, December 1, 2008 - 01:00

Scheduled for Wednesday, December 17 from 4 to 6 p.m., the Boston Bar Association will host a seminar at its conference center on 16 Beacon Street, Boston titled Mistakes New Lawyers Make: Don't Learn From YOUR Mistake - Learn From Ours!

This informative seminar and cocktail reception will feature successful attorneys who will talk about the pitfalls to avoid during the early days of an attorney's career. The program will be moderated by David Wilson of Corwin & Corwin LLP. He will be joined by a panel of attorneys who practice in different areas of the law and in different practice settings.

They will discuss issues such as the legal tricks you didn't know about; what to do when you mess up; networking that works; how to keep your clients happy; managing difficult relationships with colleagues; ethical rules that are easier to violate than you think; and different paths to a successful career.
