NYCLA's Centennial Dinner Will Honor Corporate In-House Counsel

Saturday, November 1, 2008 - 01:00

The New York County Lawyers' Association's Centennial Dinner will be held on Tuesday, December 16, 2008 in the Grand Ballroom of the Waldorf Astoria Hotel. The Dinner is a black tie event and begins with cocktails at 6:30 p.m., followed by dinner and a program. Former NYCLA President Robert L. Haig is the Dinner Chair.

The theme for NYCLA's Centennial Dinner is "Honoring Corporate In-House Counsel." At the Dinner, NYCLA will celebrate the invaluable work that corporate law departments have done on behalf of their clients and our legal system as well as the leadership and dedication of corporate General Counsel.

Set forth below are the 50 General Counsel of major corporations who have already accepted NYCLA's invitation to attend its Centennial Dinner as Honored Dais Guests:

The Dinner is a magnificent social event, renowned as the "bench and bar event of the year." It affords an opportunity to invite clients, spouses, and friends to join in a festive evening. Because of this year's theme, NYCLA is encouraging law firms to invite corporate in-house counsel to sit at their tables. Last year approximately 1,500 people attended the Dinner.
