San Francisco Bar To Discuss Commercial Lease Issues

The Bar Association of San Francisco has scheduled a lunchtime CLE program titled Recession Fallout: Commercial Lease Issues for Thursday, July 10, from noon to 1:00 p.m. at the BASF Conference Center at 301 Battery Street, San Francisco.Lunch and registration begin at 11:30 a.m.

The session, which is designed for general business law practitioners, will explore lease issues in a troubled economy.Topics include typical commercial lease default and remedies in a recession, creative options for keeping commercial tenants in their space, and how to avoid lease concessions that may complicate any subsequent bankruptcy.

The speakers scheduled for this course are Paul F. Utrecht, Zacks Utrecht & Leadbetter, P.C.; Nancy J. Newman, Hanson Bridgett LLP; and Theani C. Louskos, Bartko, Zankel, Tarrant, & Miler, P.L.C.
