Sunday, June 1, 2008 - 01:00

The State Bar of Arizona is sponsoring a seminar titled The Ins and Outs of Foreclosure, a topic that will be helpful not only for lawyers who practice in this field but also for lawyers who practice in unrelated areas but who have been asked for advice about foreclosure by their clients.

The seminar will be held Thursday, June 26 from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m. at the Orange Tree Golf Resort, Scottsdale, AZ.

This comprehensive nuts-and-bolts session will cover new standards for trustee qualifications, handling excess sale proceeds, changed procedures for completing a foreclosure and bankruptcy updates.

The speakers will be Kent Cammack and Christopher M. McNichol, Gust Rosenfeld, PLC; the Hon. Eileen W. Hollowell, U.S. Bankruptcy Court, Tucson; Mark M. Deatherage, Gallagher & Kennedy; Thomas J. Salerno, Squire Sanders & Dempsey, L.L.P., and Michael A. Yarnell, Assistant Professor of Law, Phoenix School of Law.
